There are a lot of factors that go into deciding what strategy to use for making money online and how and where to apply it.  I’m going to talk about what I think about when it comes to applying strategies.

The first thing I think about is, is it feasible?  What is the earnings potential?  How long do I think it will take me to become profitable?  How much time and effort is it going to take?

There are three main types of people that attempt to make money online.

The first person is the person that sees all the ads on television andfalls for the ads that promise the moon, with no work.  They may fall for it once and give up.  Some of them sleeplessly keep falling for the same crap over and over again.  The second type of person is a person that thinks there is one master strategy that is complex, but pays off right away and makes them rich. People get into affiliate marketing for many reasons.  They don’t think that they can put together a product or offer.  That may or may not be true, but the important thing is that they believe that they can’t.  If they can’t, they don’t really fancy having to hire someone to write it or do it for them.

They don’t think that they can create a good sales page.  Again, that may or may not be true and they don’t want to shell out the big bucks and hire a professional copywriter.  They might not want to handle the customer service.
